Meet Your Captain

Captain Dean Ramos is the owner and operator of Sunseeker Charters in Naples, Florida. A longtime Southwest Florida resident, Captain Ramos relocated from Connecticut three decades ago in search of warmer weather and a coastal lifestyle. Over the years, his deep connection to the local waterways, wildlife, and marine environment led him to establish Sunseeker Charters with a mission to deliver safe, memorable, and personalized boating experiences.

Captain Ramos proudly served more than 25 years in law enforcement and is also a United States veteran. His professional background brings exceptional attention to safety, situational awareness, and guest care, while his easygoing, approachable nature creates a comfortable and enjoyable environment for every charter.

With a passion for the water and Southwest Florida, Captain Ramos strives to make each guest feel welcome,  whether exploring hidden coastal gems, seeking wildlife encounters, enjoying a beautiful sunset or simply relaxing on the water. His goal is to ensure every trip reflects the beauty, fun, and spirit of the Gulf.

Cancellation & Weather Policies

At Sunseeker Charters, we want your day on the water to be relaxed, easy, and unforgettable. Our cancellation policy keeps things fair and simple while making sure we can run the best experience possible.

Weather Cancellations (Captain Decides)

Florida weather can change quickly, so the captain always has the final call on whether conditions are safe.

If the captain cancels due to weather before departure, you may choose:

- A full refund, or

- Rescheduling at no penalty.

If weather changes after we depart, the captain may shorten or adjust the trip for safety. In those rare cases, we’ll work with you on a fair credit or accommodation.

Guest Cancellations

- Cancel 72+ hours before your trip → Full refund

- Cancellations made inside 72 hours are non-refundable.

No-Shows

Guests who do not arrive or fail to check in within 30 minutes of departure are considered a no-show, and the trip is non-refundable.

Payment Policy

- Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your charter date.

- Payments are fully refundable only when cancellations follow the policy listed above.
